Cameron Hill, one of the first townhome projects built by Eaken Youngentrob Associates, broke ground in the late 1990s and was completed in 1999. The developer, which now goes by its initials EYA, continues to build in the area with projects such as National Park Seminary and Chelsea Heights in Silver Spring, Westbard Square in Bethesda, and The Brownstones at Chevy Chase Lakes.
Cameron Hill townhouses are built to one of two floor plans. Each was offered with options such as a finished top-floor bathroom or a fireplace. The Blair model features a two-car garage and three or four bedrooms based on the location in the community. The Garrett model has three bedrooms and a one-car garage, with the ability to park a second car under the deck. Homeowners have upgraded and remodeled their spaces over time, so the inside of many homes may look quite different today than the original builder floor plans.
